This Privacy Policy explains how Island Time Studio (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information in Vyb: Offline MP3 Music Player (the “App”).

Vyb is designed as an offline music player. We currently do not require account registration and do not collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or precise location through the App.

2. Local Device Data

To provide core features, the App stores data locally on your device, such as:

Imported audio file references
Library metadata (e.g., title, artist, album, artwork when available)
Playlists (including Favorites)
Playback preferences and settings

This data is used only to operate the App and remains on your device unless you remove the App or clear its data.

3. Permissions

The App may request limited permissions needed for functionality, including:

POST_NOTIFICATIONS for playback notifications/media controls
FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK for background playback

Permissions are used only for the related feature and not for advertising profiling.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your local music library or playlist data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect app data stored on-device. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page.
