- Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): used to scan barcodes and QR codes.
- Photos/Media (if granted): used only when you choose to save generated barcode images to your device.
How Information Is Used
Scanning and barcode generation are performed for app functionality. By default, scanned content and generated barcodes are handled on-device.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your scanned content with third parties except when required by law.
Data Retention
Data you save (for example, generated barcode images) remains on your device unless you delete it.
Children's Privacy
OptiScan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
You can deny camera or media permissions in your device settings. Some app features may not work without those permissions.
